Sadie & Frank's Nursery

Mission Statement

At Sadie and Franks, we strive to provide and maintain a quality environment for the children to develop and challenge themselves within a safe and stimulating setting. We value the character and individuality of the children in our care. We aim to nurture the children and set by a positive example. We encourage independence, to respect others, to develop a positive attitude towards learning and equality.

Our Staff are committed to creating a “Parent Partnership” with the parents/carers of the children within our care to help ensure that we are doing everything that we can to value and teach diversity to those around us.

We recognise the importance of education, both through curriculum and free play. We follow “The New Curriculum” and we promote this depending on the age and stage of development of the child. We do this through planned, adult-led and child-led activities. We also follow the playworks approach and offer as much free play as possible throughout the day. We use the individual child’s interests to educate and teach them various learning objectives. Through using the child’s interests, they do not always realise they are working towards a goal.
