At Nursery we implement as much Welsh as possible throughout the day, especially during circle time. Children are given the opportunity to learn Days of the week, colours, counting, and songs in Welsh.

Staff, parents and children are encouraged to take part in our Welsh Word of the week, this helps with learning basic Welsh words to use in everyday situations. We currently have 3 fluent Welsh speaking staff at nursery. 

The Welsh Language is part of the new Welsh Curriculum and we love celebrating days such as Diwrnod Santes Dwynwen, Diwrnod Shwmae Su’mae, Dydd Gwyl Dewi, Dydd Miwsic Cymru and so much more.
